The educational growth of all children is something we passionately believe in at Tabernacle, and we strive to provide our students with the best opportunities to continue their education after high school. We make every effort to ensure they have the tools and resources needed to prepare them for tomorrow’s workforce. The Founders and Legacy Scholarship was established to support our students in achieving their academic goals.
Over $150,000 in SCHOLARSHIPS have been awarded through our Founders and Legacy Scholarship, making it possible for students to attend college. Past recipients have graduated from college and furthered their careers as doctors, lawyers, financial analysts, educators, and have gone on to work with the Department of Homeland Security.
Scholarships for tBC High School Seniors

That’s why we’re proud to offer scholarships to support our graduating high school seniors as you take your next steps into college, trade school, or wherever God is leading you.
Below is a list of scholarships available exclusively through TBC. These awards are designed to recognize your dedication in areas such as academics, ministry involvement, leadership, community service, and more.
Available Scholarships at TBC:
TBC Founders and Legacy Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship for
students who demonstrate strong academic achievement and have an official transcript with
a GPA of 2.5 or higher during the application process.
TBC Founders and Legacy Scholarship(renewal applicant)
This scholarship was established to provide funding for the undergraduate student, enrolled in a first-time two-year or four-year degree-seeking program. The scholarship is designed to:
(1) encourage intellectual growth
and continued education
(2) motivate students to their fullest potential
(3) assist students who are members of the Tabernacle Baptist Church with financial advancement to the higher institute of learning of their choice. The scholarship totals will be divided among
the applicants in accordance with merit.
The Tania Boyd Williams scholarship is offered in memory of the remarkable Tania,
a beloved mother, artist, and talented barber known as the "Queen of the Shop," who brought joy, beauty, and connection to all who knew her. In honor of her passion for helping others look and feel their best, this scholarship celebrates her legacy of creativity, compassion, and community. One student entering the field of barbering or cosmetology will be awarded a one-time scholarship of $500 to support their educational journey and continue Tania’s inspiring work in the beauty industry.
